Henrik Perret, General Secretary
Henrik Perret is General Secretary of the Theological Institute of Finland from the year 2006. Before that he has been Vicar of the Markus Parish in Helsinki in 19802005. He has also worked as Chairman of Medi-Heli doctor helicopter service and as its Executive Director in 19931996. Before his job as vicar he worked for five years in the Fellowship of Evangelical Students in Finland (member of IFES). Henrik Perret is also a member of the Synod of the Church since 1983
Henrik Perret is also certificated in ambulance service and Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
Henrik Perret has with his wife Anki (Ann-Kristin) four grown-up sons and four grandchildren.

Timo Eskola, New Testament Scholar
Dr. Timo Eskola is our teacher in New Testament exegetics.
His projects include several themes on Pauline studies and early Christian theology. He is the editor of IUSTITIA, the periodical of the Institute.
Eskola also lectures at the Institute as well as at the Helsinki University.
Eskolas disseration on Christology, "Messiah and Son of God" (in Finnish only), was published in 1992.
Since then he has published an introduction to the New Testament theology, a monograph on the theory of hermeneutics, an introduction to the history and writings of Qumran, and several articles on different topics of New Testament exegetics.
His latest study is Theodicy and Predestination in Pauline Soteriology ( Mohr/Siebeck: Tbingen. Wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen zum Neuen Testament 2. Reiche 100. 1998 ) |

Kirsi Sell, Secretary
Kirsi Sell takes care of most practical matters, as secretaries usually do.After she leaves at 4 p.m. there are voluntary workers helping with copying, mailing, library work and various other tasks. Kirsi Sell answers the phone, keeps several registries with the computer and takes care of financial matters including bookkeeping.
She also makes up publications of the Institute, e.g. the information bulletin Kulmakivi (Cornerstone) programmes and advertisements. Preparing administrative material for the meetings of the committees of the Institute and keeping the minutes also belongs to her duties, as well as serving coffee.
